My First Fashion Event

So I am currently a Fashion Design student at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, and this past weekend (Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010) was our Schools’ 25th annual event fashion show and I volunteered as a dresser in the backstage, it was one of the greatest experience in my life. All i can say was that this day had opened my eye to the things i would be exposed to for the rest of my life since i want to be in this industry. The rush and everything was quite exciting, you had to have clothes on and off in less than a minute and my partner, our model, and i did a pretty amazing job i would say… we were not called once to hurry up at all, me and my partner had great teamwork and we communicated well, we had things on and off in seconds and we had a routine going on. i felt pretty proud of myself to have been able to be a part of the show with so many of my schoolmates and school faculty. This is a day i will never forget because it was kind of like the first step into what i would be surrounded with for a while. I am ready to take on challenges and experience the hype of everything. I am fierce and fearless; I’m ready to take on the challenges to come and it is up to me if i succeed or fail! :)

My first show

So last Thursday and to be exact Thursday Oct. 21, 2010, some of the girl and i went to a david choi show at the Orpheum in tampa, florida and I’ve gotta say it was probably the most amazing first show i’ve ever been to. We enjoyed every bit of it well at least i know i did. Thank goodness there was not alot of people cause everyone got a chance to meet him. he was a pretty chill dude and i’ve definitely gotta say goin to the show makes me wanna support him more cause he is as great as his vids. Thanks for coming Mr. D-Choi.
